Our Japan RM brothers and sisters held a reunion Friday 15 Mar 2024 in Okinawa, with 27 folks participating in person. 14 others particpated by Zoom, including 2 RMs joining in the middle of the night from the US. Participants also had the option for a session at the new Okinawa Temple - most chose Thursday or Saturday so as to not conflict with the reunion time. Click on the group photo below to get a larger view. Planned Program: 

About 50 participants RSVP'd, both face-to-face and online. There will be more participants than ever before, so we ask for your cooperation in allowing each person to take about 5 minutes to report on their current situation and share their testimonies. We are planning to first hear from those who will be at the venue in person, and then from those who will be participating via Zoom. During this time, there will be time for soup stock and meals prepared by Okinawan people at the venue. In order to ensure a smooth meeting, those attending in-person will be asked to speak in the order they are seated, and those attending via Zoom will be asked to speak in the order listed on the RSVP list.

Date and time: March 15, 2024 (Friday) 15:00-20:30 (12am-5:30am if Zoom from MDT)
Location: Naha Ward 3rd floor (3-10-1 Akebono, Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture)
 
Content: Stories from participants (face-to-face and online).
Plans include dinner, chats, music, Okinawan celebratory dancing, and an Okinawan karate performance.
