It's been a long time since my mission but it continues to affect my life. Our 2 son's both served missions in Tokyo. Most recently, we went to Japan to pick up our 2nd son in May of 2004 at the end of his mission. We spent 2 great weeks meeting some of the members in the Tokyo North mission. We did some traveling around Japan while there, including a visit back to Akita where I served 7 months as a missionary. Needless to say, it didn't look much like I remembered but it was nice to visit.
I travel to Japan for business on a regular basis and it's always nice to go back. After almost 30 years, the church is still true.
