Mission Story:

As recorded in my missionary diary: "It wasn't a mission rich in baptisms. On the contrary, baptisms were few and far between, yet the thousands of seeds we planted must be harvested soon . . . time for planting is over for me in Japan. I pray the Lord's choicest blessings upon all these beautiful people I was privileged to meet and spend time with. They'll always hold a special place in my heart. :) "

Picture above taken 8/16/2014 in SLC w/Hiroko Shio Shimai. Her husband Hideo Shio was the branch president in Sendai during our Jidai. They are just finishing their 5th couples mission here in SLC and will be returning to Japan 8/28. They're sorry to be missing the taikai in October.
